Mallory Jo Vaith, 5 weeks old, daughter of Corey and Jackie Vaith of Yankton died unexpectedly on Friday, December 07, 2007 at the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, SD. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, December 10, 2007 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Yankton, SD with Rev. Ken Bain officiating. Burial will be in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Lesterville, SD. Visitations will be held from 1-5 PM, Sunday, December 9, 2007 at the Kostel Funeral Home and Crematory, Yankton. Visitations will continue at 6:30 PM at the St. Benedict Catholic Church with a 7:00 PM rosary followed by a 7:30 scripture service. Visitations will resume one hour prior to the service at the church. Honorary pallbearers will be Mallory's cousins.

She was preceded in death by her two cousins, Nick Vaith in 1992 and Colin Hauck in 2004.
