Andrew Keith Tuttle, age 44 journeyed home on December 22, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center, Sioux City, IA after a 3 1/2 week struggle with his health.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Oyate Oyanke Community Center, Santee, NE with Ron Thomas and Richard Thomas officiating.  Visitations will begin at noon on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at the Oyate Oyanke Community Center and continue until the time of the service on Tuesday.  Prayer Services will be held Sunday, December 25 at 8 PM and Monday, December 26 at 8 PM.  Burial will be in the Howe Creek Cemetery, rural Center, NE.  Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home and Crematory, Yankton, SD is in charge of the arrangements.

Andrew Keith Tuttle was born July 31st, 1967 to Shirley Redleaf and Dale Tuttle, Sr. in Ellensburg, Washington, Andrew was the 10th of 11 children.  Andrew attended school at Wahpeton, North Dakota graduating from the 8th grade.  He went on to finish his school years at Santee Public Schools.  Andrew worked at various jobs until his health made him unable to work.  He was a devoted Nebraska Husker Football Fan, liked to watch wrestling, pow-wows, going to his nephews' football games, riding in the golf cart with Seth Medina and just riding around the community. 

Andrew had a special place in his heart for Chandler and Tyreke Tuttle and his niece Missy DeCory, he enjoyed the time he spent with them.  All his nieces and nephews meant a lot to Andrew.

Andrew will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Andrew is survived by his two daughters: Rheannon (Sage) Schoenfeld and Leafia Tuttle, all of Santee, NE; 9 siblings: Jennifer DeCory, Santee, NE, Ardene (Meredith) DeCory of Lincoln, NE, Earl DeCory, Gary (Vietta) Swalley, Norfolk, NE, Annie (George) Johnson, Rod (Roberta) Tuttle, Rena (Ken) Derby, Dale (Mikki) Tuttle, Rebecca (Jack) Marty, all of Santee, NE; adopted sister, Tara (Todd) Runnels, Niobrara, NE; half-sister, Ida Tuttle, Macy, NE and sister-in-law, Theresa DeCory, Santee, NE and aunts and uncles, Diane (Don) LaPointe, Ambrose (Karen) Redowl and JoAnne (Nate) Gilpin, all of Santee, NE, Amy (Danny) Kaskaske, Jones, OK, Betty Gilpin, Cincinnati, OH and Carl Redleaf, Tampa, FL.; his grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, special friends, and extended family.

Andrew was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley, his father, Dale and brothers, Ethan DeCory and Nate Tuttle. 

Pallbearers will be Dave Henry, Thomas (Trooper) James, Jon Johnson, Phillip Johnson, Jr. Santiago Handboy (Tito), Terry Thomas, Lance Flyinghawk, and Alonzo Denney.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Bickerstaff Tonya Brown, Stefan DeCory, Ken Derby Sage DeMarce, Simon Frazier, Jr., Wilson Freemont, Nick Grinnel, Chris Handboy, Jerry James, George Johnson, Phillip Johnson, Jr., Darwin Kaskaske, Jack Marty, Tom Mechaley, Jr., Seth Medina, Craig Redleaf, Ambrose Redowl, Mike Reynolds, George Thomas, Larry Thomas, Curtis Torrez, Bryon Tuttle, Chandler Tuttle, Jake (The Snake) Tuttle, Sidney Tuttle, Sr., Tim Tuttle, Tyreke Tuttle, Rudy Zimmerman and the Santee Clinic C.H.R.'s and all other friends and relatives.
