Mary Frances Stotz Tritschler, age 80 passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Chapel, Yankton with Chaplain Mary Hochstein officiating. Burial will be in the Yankton Cemetery. Visitations will be from 4-8 PM, Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home and Crematory, Yankton. Visitations will resume one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Connor Stotz, Jim Mount, Rick Knock, Tim Dull, Rick Stotz and Sean Tritschler.

Mary was born on May 31, 1929 to Charles and Frances (Malcolm) Reeder in Fulton, SD. She was baptized on June 28, 1936 in Mitchell, SD. She was united in marriage to Eugene Stotz on December 5, 1948. She was employed by the Hilton and Netherland Hotels as a chief telephone operator in Cincinnati, OH. Mary married Jack Tritschler on February 2, 2002. She enjoyed puzzles, her computer, and spending time with family and friends on the patio. She was a member of the Yankton VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Mary is survived by her sons: Richard (Lorna) Stotz of Yankton, SD and Steven (Susan) Stotz of Englewood, CO; 4 grandchildren: Lindsay, Abbey, Connor and Daniel Stotz and a great-grandson, Austin Stotz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and sisters, ex-husband, Eugene Stotz and husband, Jack Tritschler.

The family requests that memorials be directed to Avera Sacred Heart Hospice, 501 Summit, Yankton, SD.
