 Eleanor (Thornton) Snoozy, age 64, of Yankton, died on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton. Memorial services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Chapel, Yankton with Rev. Mercy Hobbs officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Eleanor's memory will be cherished by her son, Brian Thornton of Yankton; sisters: Rose Blakey of Yankton, Margaret Thornton of Sioux Falls, SD, Marilyn (Tom) Wright of Norfolk, NE and Carol Thornton of Rapid City, SD; brothers: Marvin Thornton of Sioux Falls, SD, John Thornton of Yankton and Robert Thornton of St. Paul, MN; 3 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lena (Cook) Thornton; brothers: Walter Jr., William and Joseph and sisters: Charlene Stuhlmacher and Delores Boerema.
