 Catherine Mitchell/Smith passed away at her home on Monday August 8, 2011 at the age of 52. Cathy was born on September 7, 1958 in Waukegan, Illinois. She attended school in Yankton, South Dakota. She later married Doug Smith and resided in Yankton, South Dakota. She is survived by her husband Doug; Three children Jesse, Katrina and Joe; Two grandchildren Alex and Matthew; Her parents Dennis and Mary; Brother Mike and wife Tammy; Niece and Nephew Michelle and Marcus. She is preceded in death by her brother Ronnie and grandparents.
Private family services will be held. The Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory, Yankton, is assisting with services.
