 Mel Severson died peacefully at home September 15, 2006. To honor his wishes, the family loaned his body to the Medical School at the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, SD, as part of their program for the education of future medical students. The body has now been returned to the Kostel Funeral Home and Crematory, Yankton, and burial will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Vangen Lutheran Cemetery, Mission Hill, SD with Rev. Lance Lindgren officiating. There will be a light lunch following at Vangen Lutheran Church in Mission Hill. The family appreciates your continued prayers of support.
