 Robert A. Oligmueller, age 59 of Yankton died on Sunday, March 30, 2008 at the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the Kostel Funeral Chapel, Yankton, SD with Msgr. Carlton Hermann officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitations will be from 9:30 AM-11:30 AM, Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the Kostel Funeral Home with a rosary beginning at 1:30 PM.
Robert was born on October 26, 1948 to Arnold and Catherine (Schaefer) Oligmueller in Miller, SD. He grew up in Miller and graduated from Miller High School in 1967. He continued his education by attending University of South Dakota for three years and was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Robert was a long time Yankton resident and was employed by Dale's, M-Tron, and Gurney's along with other jobs in the Yankton area.
Survivors include his sister, Joan Miller and her husband, Curt of Crystal Lake, IL and his brother, Gerry Oligmueller and his wife Jane of Lincoln, NE; his aunt, Marge Schaefer of Sioux Falls, SD and his aunt and uncle, Norm and Etta Eschenbaum of Sturgis, SD; five nieces and nephews and nine grand nieces and nephews who called Bob "Uncle Bob".
He was preceded in death by his parents.
