Steven A. Hackett, age 46, of Yankton, SD passed away unexpectedly on Thursday November 3, 2011 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital Yankton, SD. Following Steven's wishes a Memorial Graveside Service will take place at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Yankton, SD. The Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
Steven was born on February 4, 1965. He graduated from Yankton High School and worked at Cimpl's until he got sick.
He is survived his mother, Loretta Hackett of Yankton, SD; sisters: Carol (Terry) Jensen of Irene, SD, Diane (Tim) Scott of Bemidji, MN and Patsy Dunn of Pocatello, ID; brothers: Bob (Judy) Hackett of Yankton, SD, and Don (Cathy) Hackett of Rapid City.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond and grandparents, Ruben & Minnie Hackett, and great-grandparents, Richard and Helen Barta.
