 Deborah Jo "Debbie" Flemming, age 59 of Yankton passed away on Friday, April 1, 2011 at Avera Sister James Care Center, Yankton. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Chapel, Yankton, SD. Burial of the cremated remains will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Watertown, SD at a later date. Visitations will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Debbie was born August 11, 1951 in Sisseton, SD to William and Delores Pirmantgen. She attended grade school in New Effington, SD and graduated from Yankton High School. Debbie married Leo Flemming in 1971 in Yankton, SD. They resided in Watertown, SD. Debbie and Leo had three children; Randy, Shawna, and Ricky. She moved back to Yankton after the death of her husband, Leo. Debbie enjoyed playing cards, her computer, and scrap booking for her grandchildren. She loved all pets and in particular horses.
Her memory is cherished by her son Randy of Yankton, SD and her daughter Shawna of Sioux Falls, SD. One brother Carroll (Mary) Pirmantgen of Milbank, SD and one sister Kathleen (Harvey) Youngberg of Yankton, SD and her grandchildren Joseph, Alex, Brianna, and Britton. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Leo, and son Ricky.
