Scarlet Leigh Doppenberg, daughter of Amy Doppenberg and Nick Johnson, both of Yankton, SD was stillborn Friday, June 10, 2011 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, SD. Private memorial services are planned. Burial will be in the baby land section of the Yankton Cemetery, Yankton, SD. The Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory, Yankton, is assisting with services.
Scarlet is survived by her mother Amy Doppenberg and Nicholas Johnson, both of Yankton, SD; maternal grandparents John and Marilyn Doppenberg of Yankton, SD; paternal grandmother Mary R. Johnson of Yankton, SD; her uncles, Adam Doppenberg of Lee's Summit, MO, Travis Doppenberg of Chaska, MN, Philip (Alisa) Johnson Indianapolis, IN, Christopher (Tushia) Johnson of Yankton, SD, and Matthew Johnson of Yankton, SD; her aunts Stephanie (Mike) Reed of Lincoln, NE, Sara (Allan) Lipka of Lincoln, NE and Amber Johnson of Vermillion, SD. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Roger L. Johnson.
