Barbara Jean Buggs, age 35, of Yankton, SD passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Chapel, Yankton, SD with Rev. Jeff Mantz officiating. Burial of her cremated remains will be in Roswell, NM at a later date. Visitations will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Barbara Jean Buggs was born June 15, 1976 in Roswell, New Mexico to Lester Butch and Verna Jean (Crislip) Buggs. She was involved in the Special Olympics. Barbara loved music and loved to sing if anyone would ask her to sing to them, she would light up and it made her day. Her favorite singer was Reba McEntire and her favorite song was "Amazing Grace". She loved animals especially horses and going horseback riding. Barbara liked to watch football, the Dallas Cowboys were her team and she wanted to be a cheerleader for the Cowboys. She was a joy to all that knew her; we all love her so much. She will be dearly missed.
Those who will cherish her memory are her brothers: John Hunsucker of Roswell, NM, David Allen Hunsucker of Hollywood, CA, and Phillip Michael Buttler of Arlington, TX; her sisters: Theresa (Terri) Hunsucker of Yankton, SD, Mary Jane Hunsucker of Yankton, SD, Becky Crislip of Roswell, NM, April Arches of Roswell, NM, and Paula Shipp of Portales, NM, and several aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
