Wilma Bruget, age 96 of Yankton and formerly of Mission Hill, SD passed away Thursday, May 05, 2011 at the Avera Yankton Care Center, Yankton, SD. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Monday, May 9, 2011 at Vangen Lutheran Church, Mission Hill, with Rev. Lance Lindgren officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitations will be one hour prior to the service at the church. The Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory, Yankton, is in charge of arrangements.

Wilma was born on April 13, 1915 to William Inch and Minnie Brandt Inch in Gayville, SD. Wilma graduated from Gayville High School in 1931. She worked at McElwain Grocery, Yankton Wholesale Grocery and taught Sunday School for many years. She served on the Bruget School Board and was a member of Vangen Church's WALC and retarded citizens in Yankton. She married Leo Bruget on September 4, 1944 at Vangen Lutheran Church. She lived in Gayville, Mission Hill and Yankton, SD area all of her life.

She is survived by her sister, Mildred Eggers of Sunnyvale, CA and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983, daughter, Karen in 2008, her parents, sister, Harriet Metz; brother, William "Bud" Inch, two brothers-in-law, Buell Eggers and Vern Metz.
