Jo-Ann Bohlmann, age 77, of Topock, AZ and formerly of Yankton passed away at her residence Thursday, January 5, 2012. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 14, 2012, at First United Methodist Church, Yankton, with Rev. Ron Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Yankton City Cemetery. Visitations will be from 5-7 PM, Friday, January 13, 2012, at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory, Yankton. Visitations will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.

Jo-Ann Bohlmann was born February 3, 1934 in Yankton, SD to Sylvia (Greenfield) and Joseph Blazek. In 1954 she married Vern Bohlmann. After they were married, they moved to Omaha, NE where they lived for one year, before returning to Yankton. She worked at a few businesses during her life in Yankton, including Newberrys, Bob's Jewelry, Fullerton Lumber, Pillars Flower Shop and Jerry's Photography. In 1993, Jo-Ann moved to Topock, AZ with her daughter and son-in-law, where she died. She enjoyed making crafts of all kinds, along with porcelain doll making and oil painting.

She is survived by 2 children, Curtis (Tina) Bohlmann of Des Plaines, IL and Cindy (Glenn) Lange of Topock AZ; 2 grandchildren, Joshua (Cindy) Bohlmann of Sioux Falls, SD and Kim Smith of Sioux Falls, SD, and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 2 sisters and her very loved and missed husband, Vern, who passed away in 1983.
